The United States Military Veterans Parade Association announced the parade, presented by USAA, which took place Saturday, Nov. 7, 2026, in downtown San Antonio. Organizers say the annual event brought together veterans, active-duty military personnel, military families, community organizations, marching bands, and other supporters. Rear Admiral Kertreck V. Brooks, commander of My Navy Career Center, serves as the parade’s 2026 grand marshal. The United States Military Veterans Parade is more than just a parade. It is our community's opportunity to come together and say thank you to the brave men and women who have served our country,” said Casey Watts, marketing and sponsorships director for the United States Military Veterans Parade Association. “San Antonio is proudly known as Military City, USA, and we encourage everyone to join us on November 7 as we fill the streets of downtown with patriotism, pride, and gratitude. Our veterans deserve nothing less. The parade stepped off at noon after a special performance of the National Anthem at about 11:56 a.m. at the intersection of Houston and San Saba streets. The route ran along Houston Street before turning onto Jefferson Street. The event was free and open to the public. Spectators were encouraged to arrive early, bring American flags, wear patriotic colors, and line the parade route. The association also encouraged downtown businesses, hotels and restaurants to take part by displaying American flags, welcoming spectators and helping create a patriotic atmosphere throughout downtown. Organizers said the 2026 parade was made possible through support from presenting sponsor USAA, powered by Cavender Auto Group, along with corporate sponsors, community partners and volunteers.
